Hagar Ben Ari performs on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" as part of their house band. She is a fiercely talented bass player and the only female member of the band. Ben Ari devoted her life to music from an early age in her native Israel before moving to New York to pursue big dreams and ambitions.
Prior to late night television, Hagar toured extensively with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings (2000-2013), as well as; Grace Potter, Moby, Keren Ann, Karl Denson, Jim Campilongo, Elysian Fields, Daniel Marryweather, Pimps of Joytime, Noa, and Laurent Voulzy. She opened for the Rolling Stones (in 2015 with Grace Potter), and Prince (in 2012 with Sharon Jones).
Aside from her musical talents we are inspired by her globe-trotting courage and her openness about the real ups and downs of life as a musician on a global stage. We're thrilled to feature her for In Conversation.
