Once again we’re thrilled that Madame Sophie Grégoire Trudeau chose to wear Zvelle on her visit to Japan for the G7 summit!

There was a lot of global buzz about Canada’s power couple and Madame Sophie showed her continued support of homegrown talent by wearing Canadian designs, head to toe. At each appearance she was stylish, sophisticated and totally on point.

While writing prayer tablets at Tokyo’s Meiji Shrine, Madame Sophie looked stunning in Zvelle’s red Amelia heels and floral frock by Erdem.

The couple later met the emperor and empress of Japan at the Imperial Palace where Madame Sophie wowed in a pair of custom-made nude AVAs that complemented her pastel pink Jay Godfrey dress.

Her AVA shoes are the same iconic style that Zvelle founder Elle AyoubZadeh designed for Madame Sophie to wear to the White House state dinner last March.

For a cocktail event with Japan’s Prime Minister and First Lady, Madame Grégoire Trudeau wore custom-made AVAs in our signature metallic gold, pairing perfectly with a yellow print dress by Wayne Clark.

We couldn’t be more proud of Madame Sophie for representing Canada with such grace and sophistication, and for once again using her platform to shine light on Canadian talent.

Like Madame Sophie, we want to support causes that are close to our heart and we’re extremely proud of our partnership with Women’s College Hospital. This is a trailblazing organization and we’re thrilled to donate $10 for each pair sold to Women’s College Hospital Foundation.
